Katie Newburn was born and raised in the Napa Valley, the perfect environment to nurture her early passion for food and community. At sixteen she began her first job in the local restaurant scene, and increasingly engaged with chefs, local sustainable farms, and wine makers.

As her passion increased, so too did her desire to use photography as a medium to capture the love shared at the dining table, to support the sustainable food movement, and to offer her own unique perspective.

For the past ten years, Katie has been working with clients along the West Coast and beyond to craft imagery that conveys the heart of each dish, its ingredients and makers, and the celebration of food embraced here.
